Vaccinatie, Please

2021
Unity | C# | group project
This is a project made in a team to make people aware of the different covid symptoms. This game takes place at an airport and you have to decide who can step on the plane and who not by looking at their passport and their symptoms.

Procedural Terrain Generation

2021-Current
Unity | C# | solo project
A random terrain generator made by following a Sebastian Lague tutorial. I am really interested in procedural generation but it is very complicated so I searched around on the internet for some help and came across his educational tutorial series which helped me to understand how the basics of procedural generation work.

Active Ragdoll

2021
Unity | C# | solo project
I made a player controller with a ragdoll. This makes it able to interact with the physical environment. The thing I love about this kind of movement is the way the character moves. It moves in such a unique way.

VR Room

2020
Unity | C# | solo project
A project I made for a SteamVR headset. Inside this project I tested out different inputs for a VR headset with controllers. I made this project because I find VR very interesting. There is so much that hasn't been done yet.

Island Survival Game
(Temporary Title)

2020-Current
Unity | C# | group project
This is a project that I'm working on with a friend who does the art. The point of the game is to survive on an island. You have to gather ores, food, wood and kill monsters to survive. We are still working on a crafting system and something to make your island bigger but that will come in the future.

Bullet Hell

2020
Unity | C# | solo project
Bullet Hell is a fun fast paced shooter game where you have to evade your own bullets. Pick or shoot the coins to increase your score and try to stay alive as long as possible. It works on an arcade machine and PC. The goal is simple and the art is not to flashy so its also fun for the older generation.

Jim
van der Heijden

Hello,
I'm a Game Developer with good knowledge in the C# code language. I love to write clean, polished and efficient code because I think quality is important. I love to spend time on fixing small details and optimize my games. Also, I like working in a team, because you'll learn much more and can get feedback on the things you've made.
